MEET KERRIE
- Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher -
Hello!
Yoga and Meditation Classes
I teach with joy, presence, and non-judgment, helping students connect to the present moment and find balance and peace.
My many years of learnings are fully embodied during teaching which are always trauma-informed and focused on nervous system regulation, not performance. Students often say classes "feel different", have depth and inspire a connection to meaning and their lives.
I’ve practiced meditation since childhood and first trained deeply in Zen Yoga with Daizan Roshi, a Zen Master. Training was immersive, integrating mindfulness at every level through alignment, asana, meditation, breathwork, anatomy, philosophy, and Zen.
I hold over 1200 hours of professional yoga training (Yoga Alliance certified) and 5000+ hours of teaching experience, including specialties like Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga for Cancer Care (aligned to British Society of Integrative Oncology), Restorative Yoga, and Somatics.
I've studied mindfulness under Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings in Plum Village and bring diverse global yoga experiences from my travels too.
Qualified in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, Trauma-specific Solution Focused Brief Therapy and in 2025 awarded an MSc with First Class Honours in Mindfulness Based Wellbeing. I am qualified to teach the clinical Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme (NHS endorsed) and hold transformative Inquiry sessions.
Most recently I attended the most advanced Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Training in the world; with the founder himself Dr. Steven C. Hayes, Dr. Robyn Walser (expert in trauma and grief), and Drs. Gijs Jansen. In collaborating with some of the worlds best psychiatrists and psychotherapists it’s clear that we start treating people as individuals, looking at their entire context to offer the most effective path to wellness.
You feel the benefit of my varied learnings during teaching.

"Words fail to convey the total value of yoga.
It has to be experienced."
